When does B.Pharm and D.Pharm admission open for 2026?

The application window typically opens in March 2026, with first-round counselling in April-May 2026 and final admission deadline in August 2026 (or until seats are filled). Classes begin September 2026.

Is NEET or KCET required?

No. NEET is for MBBS/BDS and KCET is for government/aided private college seats. At VSCP, admission to B.Pharm and D.Pharm is direct merit-based on 12th PCB or PCM marks.

Which course should I choose - B.Pharm or D.Pharm?

Depends on your goals. B.Pharm (4 years) opens broader career options. D.Pharm (2 years + 500 hours practical) is faster and leads to Registered Pharmacist status. Lateral entry from D.Pharm to B.Pharm is also available.

What documents are required?

10th and 12th marksheets, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Migration Certificate (if non-Karnataka board), Aadhaar, 6 photos, plus category/income/domicile certificates if applicable.

Yes. Both B.Pharm and D.Pharm programmes are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Verify independently on pci.nic.in.

Are scholarships or education loans available?

Yes. Karnataka state scholarships, National Scholarship Portal awards, and merit-based concessions are available. Education loan documentation support from nationalised banks (SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda).

Yes. Approximately 60 seats for B.Pharm and 60 for D.Pharm annually. First-round applicants get priority. Confirm current seat status with our admissions office.

Is hostel or PG accommodation arranged?

No on-campus hostel. We partner with verified PG accommodations within 1-3 km of campus (typically Rs 6,000-12,000/month).
