PCB students (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) โ well-suited for clinical, hospital, and community pharmacy careers where biology knowledge is directly applied.
PCM students (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) โ equally eligible. The biology syllabus is covered in the first-year B.Pharm curriculum. PCM backgrounds are often preferred for industrial and production pharmacy roles.

Yes. Both PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) students are eligible for B.Pharm and D.Pharm in Karnataka. The biology gap is covered in the first-year curriculum. Many successful pharmacists studied PCM in 12th standard. Read more about B.Pharm.
Not directly into Year 1 โ B.Pharm admission is based on 10+2 marks, not graduation marks. However, B.Sc graduates may consider Pharm.D (6-year doctorate) or pursue M.Pharm after completing a B.Pharm degree.
No upper age limit. The only age requirement is that you must have completed 17 years by 31 December of the admission year (2026). Students of any age above 17 can apply.
Yes. Students with academic gaps are accepted at Vidya Siri College of Pharmacy. You may be asked about the gap during counselling, but a gap year does not disqualify your application.
