Heads of Department

The B.Pharm and D.Pharm programmes are coordinated by Heads of Department for each pharmacy discipline. Each HoD holds a postgraduate qualification in pharmacy and is registered with the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council where applicable.

• HoD — Pharmaceutics: M.Pharm qualification, supervises formulation laboratory and Pharmaceutics theory subjects
• HoD — Pharmacology: M.Pharm qualification, supervises Pharmacology laboratory and theory
• HoD — Pharmaceutical Chemistry: M.Pharm qualification, supervises chemistry-related laboratories and theory subjects
• HoD — Pharmacognosy: M.Pharm qualification, supervises crude drug analysis and herbal pharmacy
• HoD — Pharmacy Practice: Pharm.D or M.Pharm qualification, supervises clinical and community pharmacy training

Senior Faculty & Team

Our senior faculty members hold M.Pharm or equivalent postgraduate qualifications and collectively bring expertise across formulation development, drug analysis, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, and clinical practice. Each faculty member is responsible for one or more theory subjects and laboratory practicals as per the PCI Education Regulations. Academic leadership shows in day-to-day learning. Our 16 laboratories, library, and sports facilities are where the B.Pharm and D.Pharm curriculum comes alive.

Community Outreach & Social Responsibility

Pharmacy is a healthcare profession, and our students learn that from year one. VSCP students and faculty regularly conduct health awareness programmes, free health screening camps at government schools, and public health observances in the communities around Sarjapur Road.
