Step-by-Step KCET Counselling Process
Step 1: Document verification
After results, KEA announces verification dates by rank range. Carry original documents: KCET rank card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, caste certificate (if applicable), study certificate, and Aadhaar.
Step 2: Online option entry
Log in to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and fill your college preferences. You can select up to 50 options. Enter affordable colleges with good placement records early in your list.
Step 3: Seat allotment
KEA allots seats based on rank, category, and your preference order. If allotted, you must report to the college and pay fees within 5 days to confirm admission.
Step 4: If not allotted
Participate in Round 2 and Round 3 with revised preferences. Surrendered seats and new vacancies are available in later rounds.
