Q. What is the education qualification requirement for Pharm D admission?

A.The following is the minimum education qualification required to seek admission for the Pharm D course:
You should pass any of the following examinations:
• 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one subject out of Biology or Mathematics
• D.Pharm exam from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
• Any examination approved by PCI that is equivalent to the above.

Q. Is practical training part of the D.Pharm syllabus?

A.TheD.Pharm syllabus is divided into two years of course that consists of theory classes and laboratory practicals. Besides, you must complete practical training for an additional 500 hours that can be done over the time of three months. It cannot be less than three months. After having completed two years of Diploma in Pharmacy part I and II and passed the exams, you will need to furnish a certificate for practical training. Only then you will be declared as pass in the D.Pharm exam.

A.For working in a medical store you need to complete the process for a registered pharmacist. After you pass the diploma in pharmacy in all three parts. You need to register with the Pharmacy Council of India by submitting your passing certificates in the Diploma exam and get your registration.
