Q. What is the D.Pharm course structure?
A. Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharm is a two year course after passing the 10+2 Science examination or an equivalent. Each academic year should be held for not less than 180 working days. In addition to the two academic years, the candidate will also be required to undergo practical training for 500 hours. The candidates can complete this training over the period of not less than three months.

Q. What is the requirement for registering as a pharmacist?
The state government of each state forms the register for the registration of the pharmacists and the State Pharmacy Council as per the regulations of the Pharmacy Council of India maintains the register. You may register your name in the state Pharmacy council register by fulfilling the following conditions:
• You hold a degree or diploma in Pharmacy or have passed Pharm D from any Indian University approved by the Pharmacy Council of India when you were admitted to the first year.
• Age Criteria: You have completed eighteen years and are a citizen of India
• You have paid the fees required for the registration process
